this was for a competition to design a cover for DG magazine, this is 1 of 3 which were submitted, ps7 and my own illustrations

the sketch is great, but the shading of the right part makes it look not that professional imo.
i think cellshading fits better in here

thanks for the comments! yeah the parameters of the brief were that the layout of the DG logos not be altered, thus the red lego and the masthead are not aligned in any sense, and im pretty sure 'INKING' is spelt 'INKING', otherwise i dont understand what u meant by miss typed, unless u were referring to 'DINKING' which is a the slang/industry nickname for the 'digital inking' process, used in the post production of art such as J.Scott Campbell's 'Wildsiderz'
